About Tracey O'Brien Textiles

Tracey is an artist, weaver and a juried member of CraftNB. Her process involves traditional methods of making, such as weaving, spinning, sewing, knitting, and dyeing. She graduated from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design with a Textile Design Diploma specializing in weaving (2020) and continued her studies to complete a Bachelor of General Studies from Athabasca University (2025). Her art has been exhibited at Gallery 78, Sunbury Shores Art and Nature, the George Frye Gallery, Charlotte Street Art Centre, and UNB Arts Centre. She has been an artist-in-residence at Kings Landing, Queen's County Heritage, the City of Fredericton, Connexion ARC, and the Fredericton Arts Alliance. She also serves on the boards of CraftNB and the NB Crafts Foundation.
